An inquisitive Whistling Kite flying low alongside our boat which was cruising down Adelaide river,Darwin,Australia, in search for salties.The boat was always accompanied by up to 30 kites of various species. They fought,jostled and dived kamikaze-style for pieces of left-over from the crocodile-bait.
They provided us with great entertainment and photography opportunities, especially when the hightlight of the cruise,the Salties,were nowhere to be seen!
