Doing (?)good

TS and I went to batam. This is a long overdue update, but just been so busy. We went as part of a medical mission trip, my first and his fourth. Was great on several counts
(1) I've been wanting to do this kind of thing since I graduated but always thought I'd be more of a liability than a help and it turns out that the three years of training i've had so far counts for SOMETHING
(2) I got to see TS work, which I never really have and good to report that he's every bit as 'cool' as I thought he'd be :)
(3) We spent time together doing something totally different from what we usually do and enjoyed every minute of it

Was a bit tough in that we saw situations we don't usually have to deal with in Singapore. We're so used to our way of life here that we've forgotten many people aren't so lucky.

Hopefully we left doing a little bit of good, and I know we're both looking forward to adding these trips to our list of regular activities.
